1.Red Dead Redemption 2:

Platform: PS4, Xbox, P.C

It is a 2018 action-adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games. The game is the third entry in the Red Dead series and is a prequel to the 2010 Game Red Dead Redemption. The story is based in fictionalized representation of the Western, Midwestern and Southern United States and follows outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van der linde gang way back to 1899. Arthur must deal with the decline of the Wild West whilst attempting to survive against government forces, rival gangs, and other adversaries. The story also follows fellow gang member John Marston, the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption.

2.The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Platform: Nintendo Switch and Wii U

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an action adventure game developed and published by Nintendo, released for the Nintendo switch and Wii U consoles on March 3, 2017. Breath of the Wild is set at the end of the Zelda timeline; the player controls Link, who awakes from a hundred-year slumber to defeat Calamity Ganon before it can destroy the kingdom of Hyrule.

3.Mass Effect  2:

Platform: PS3, Xbox One, P.C

Mass Effects 2 an action role-playing video game developed by BioWare and published by ElectronicArts. It is second instalment of the Mass effect series and a sequel to the original Mass Effect. The game takes place within the Milky Way galaxy during the the 22nd century, where humanity is threatened by an insectoid species known as the Collectors. The player assumes the role of Commander Shepard, an elite human soldier who must construct and gain the loyalty of a diverse team and stop the enemy in a suicide mission. With the use of a completed saved game of its predecessor, the player can impact the story of the game in numerous ways.

4.The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Platform: P.C, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a 2015 action role-playing game developed and published by CD Projekt and based on The Witcher series of fantasy novel by Andrzej Sapkowski. It is the sequel to the 2011 game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, played in an open world with a third-person perspective. Players control protagonist Geralt of Rivia , a monster hunter (known as a Witcher) who is looking for his missing adopted daughter on the run from the Wild Hunt, an otherworldly force determined to capture her and use her powers. Players battle the game’s many dangers with weapons and magic, interact with non-player characters, and complete main-story and side quests to acquire experience points and gold, which are used to increase Geralt’s abilities and purchase equipment. Its central story has several endings, determined by the player’s choices at certain points in the game.

5.Persona 5

Platform : PS3, PS4

Persona 5 is a role playing video game developed by Altus. The game is chronologically the the sixth installment in the Persona series, which is part of the larger Megami Tensei franchise. It was published by Atlus in Japan and North America and by Deep SilverDeep  in Europe and Australia. An expanded version featuring new content, Persona 5 Royal, was released in Japan in October 2019 and will be released worldwide in March 2020.

6.Mad Max

Platform: P.C, PS4, and Xbox One

Mad Max is an action-adventure video game based on the Mad Max franchise. . Developed by Avalanche Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. In the game, players control Max Rockatansky as he progresses through the wasteland building a vehicle, the “Magnum Opus”, to do battle with a gang of raiders, led by Scabrous Scrotus, and to reach the storied “Plains of Silence”, where he hopes to find peace. Mad Max emphasizes vehicular combat , in which players can use weapon and armor upgrades on their car to fight enemies. It is set in an open post-apocalyptic wasteland consisting of deserts, canyons, and caves.

7.Far Cry 5:

Platform: P.C, Xbox One, PS4

Far Cry 5 is a 2018 first-person shooter game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. It is the standalone successor to the 2014’s Far Cry 4, and the fifth main instalment in the Far Cry series.

The game takes place in Hope County, a fictional region of Montana, United States. The main story revolves around the Project at Eden’s Gate, a doomsday cult that has taken over the county at the command of its charismatic and powerful leader, Joseph Seed. Players control an unnamed junior deputy sheriff who becomes trapped in Hope County, and must work alongside factions of a resistance to liberate the county from the despotic rule of the Seeds and Eden’s Gate. Gameplay focuses on combat and exploration; players battle enemy soldiers and dangerous wildlife using a wide array of weapons. The game features many elements found in role-playing games, such as a branching storyline and side quests. The game also features a map editor, a co-operative multiplayer mode, and a competitive multiplayer mode.

8.Fallout: New Vegas

Platform: P.C, PS3, Xbox 360

Fallout: New Vegas is a post apocalyptic action role-playing video game. It is a spin-off of the Fallout series and was developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game is set in a Post apocalyptic open world  environment that encompasses a region consisting of parts of Nevada, California, and Arizona. It is set in a world that deviated onto an alternate timeline thanks to atomic age technology, which eventually led to its devastation by a nuclear apocalypse in the year 2077 in an event referred to as “The Great War”. This war was caused by a major international conflict between the United States and China over natural resources. The main story of New Vegas takes place in the year 2281, four years after the events of Fallout 3. It is not a direct sequel, but it does mark the return of several elements found in the Black Isle Studios developed fallout 2.

9.Bioshock

Plaform: PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, P.C

BioShock is a 2007 First person shooter game  developed by 2K Boston  and 2K Australia, and published by Games. It is the first game in the Bioshock series . The game’s concept was developed by Irrational’s creative lead, Ken Levine, and incorporates ideas by 20th century dystopian and utopian thinkers.

10.Yakuza

Platform: PS3, PS4, P.C

Yakuza, known in Japan as Ryū ga Gotoku, is an action adventure beat them up video game  franchise created, owned and published by Sega. The series originated from Toshihiro Nagoshi’s desire to create a game that would tell the way of life of the yakuza. Nagoshi initially struggled to find a platform for the project, until Sony showed interest in the prospect.

The series primarily focuses on the yakuza Kazuma Kiryu from the Tojo Clan. While Kiryu often assists the Tojo Clan, the series has also featured him searching for another way of life in the form of raising orphans. The gameplay of Yakuza has the player controlling Kiryu (or another character depending on the title) in an open world where he can encounter an enemy or perform an activity in the city to obtain experience.

11.Doom Eternal:

Platform: PS4, Xbox One, Switch, P.C

Doom Eternal is a First person shooter video game developed by id Software  and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth main game in the Doom series and a direct sequel to 2016’s Doom.

12.Dishonored 2:

Platform: PS4, Xbox One, P.C

Dishonored 2 is an action adventure  video game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks . The sequel to 2012’s Dishonored,. The game takes place in the fictional city of Karnaca. After Empress Emily Kaldwin is deposed by the witch Delilah Copperspoon, the player may choose between playing as either Emily or her Royal Protector and father Corvo Attano as they attempt to reclaim the throne. Both Emily and Corvo employ their own array of supernatural abilities, though the player can alternatively decide to forfeit these abilities altogether. Due to the game’s nonlinear gameplay, there is a multitude of ways to complete missions, from stealth to purposeful violent conflict.

13.Residential Evil 4:

Platform: PS3, PS4, Xbox One, 360, Switch, P.C

Resident Evil 4 is a third person shooter survival horror  video game developed by Capcom Production Studio and published by Capcom. The sixth major installment in the Resident Evil series, it was originally released for the GameCube  in 2005. Players control U.S. government special agent , who is sent on a mission to rescue the U.S. president’s daughter Ashey Graham , who has been kidnapped by a cult. In a rural part of Europe, Leon fights hordes of villagers infected by a mind-controlling parasite, and reunites with the spy Ada Wong .

14.XCOM 2:

Platform: PS4, Xbox One, Switch, P.C

XCOM 2 is a 2016 turn based tactics video game  that was developed by Firaxis Games  and published by 2K Games. The game is the sequel to 2012’s reboot of the series XCOM: Enemy Unknown; it takes place 20 years after the events of Enemy Unknown. XCOM, a military organization trying to fight off an alien invasion, has lost the war and is now a resistance force against the occupation of Earth and the established totalitarian regime and military dictatorship. Gameplay is split between turn-based  combat in which players command a squad of soldiers to fight enemies and strategy elements. Players manage and control the operations of the Avenger, a derelict alien ship that is a mobile base for XCOM, commanding the engineering and research department of the base between missions.

15.Red Dead Online:

Platform: PS4, Xbox One, P.C, Stadia

Red Dead Online is an online multiplayer action adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games as the online component of Red Dead Redemption 2. After several months in Beta. Players control a silent protagonist who is freed from prison and tasked with taking revenge in exchange for their innocence. Set one year before the events of the single-player game, Red Dead Online comprises story missions where four players complete tasks to advance the narrative. The game also features several side missions and events.

16.GTA

Platform: PS4, Xbox One, P.C, Stadia

Grand Theft Auto (GTA) is an action adventure game series  created by David Jones and Mike Dailly, the later titles of which were created by brothers Dan and Sam Houser, Leslie Benzies and Aaron Garbut. It is primarily developed by British development house Rockstar North (formerly DMA Design), and published by its parent company, Rockstar Games.  The name of the series references the term “grand theft auto”, used in the U.S. for motor vehicle theft. There are several other games in the series which you can play.

17.Final Fantasy XIV:

Platform: PS4, Xbox One, P.C

Final Fantasy XIV  is a massively multiplayer online role playing game, developed and published by Square Enix  in 2010. It is the fourteenth entry in the main Final Fantasy series and the second MMORPG in the series after Final Fantasy XI . Set in the fantasy realm of Eorzea, players take control of a customized avatar as they explore the land and are caught up in both an invasion by the hostile Garlean Empire and the threat of the Primals, the deities of the land’s Beastmen tribes. Eventually, they are embroiled in a plot by a Garlean Legatus to destroy the Primals by bringing one of the planet’s moons down on Eorzea.

19.Journey:

Platform: PS3, PS4

In Journey, the player controls a robed figure in a vast desert, traveling towards a mountain in the distance. Other players on the same journey can be discovered, and two players can meet and assist each other, but they cannot communicate via speech or text and cannot see each other’s names until after the game’s credits. The only form of communication between the two is a musical chime, which transforms dull pieces of cloth found throughout the levels into vibrant red, affecting the game world and allowing the player to progress through the levels. The developers sought to evoke in the player a sense of smallness and wonder and to forge an emotional connection between them and the anonymous players they meet along the way. The music, composed by Austin Wintory, dynamically responds to the player’s actions, building a single theme to represent the game’s emotional arc throughout the story.

20.Ape Out:

Platform: Switch, P.C

Ape Out is a beat  them up game developed by Gabe Cuzzillo and published by Devolver Digita .
